2011 NEPA Board of Directors
President - Lisa Metcalf, DVM DACT Dr. Metcalf is board certified in Theriogenology and is the owner of Honahlee P.C. in Sherwood. She was elected to the NEPA Board of Directors in 2010 and has served on the board in the past, including a term as President. She is active in the AAEP
Treasurer - Ben Braat, DVM
Dr. Braat was one of the founding members of NEPA and has served as Treasurer for many years. He graduated from the Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1966 and started practicing in Albany in 1968. He founded Linn Veterinary Hospital in 1974 and enjoys equine reproduction. Hobbies include hunting and following college and professional sports.
Secretary - Alice Lombard, DVMA Pacific Northwest native, Dr. Lombard recieved her undergraduate degree from University of Washington and her veterinary degree from Washington State University. She joined the NEPA board in September of 2011.
Board Member - Tim Phillips, DVM Dr. Phillips graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1974 and has practiced equine medicine for over 35 years in Oregon. For the past 10 years, Dr. Phillips has owned Desert Valley Equine in Redmond, specializing in equine reproduction, dentistry, and lameness. A founding member of NEPA, he is a lifelong horseman and enjoys team roping.
Board Member - Mike Stewart, DVM Dr. Stewart has served on the NEPA Board of Directors for several years and organizes NEPA's participation as the on-site veterinarian for the Oregon State Fair horse show. He is the owner of Silver Creek Animal Clinic P.C. in Silverton and has practiced in the Willamette Valley for nearly 30 years.
Board Member - Michael Huber, DVMDr. Huber has served NEPA in various capacities in the past, including a term as President. He is a member of the staff at the Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Huber serves as a liason to our student NEPA members.
Board Member - Jeff Hall, DVM Dr. Hall was elected to the Board of Directors in 2010. He is a member of the staff of Equus Veterinary Services, P.C. and graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
